License Agreement for ABCL/1



The ABCL group (represented by Akinori Yonezawa) at Department of Information 
Science, the Uuniversity of Tokyo, grants to the licensee (hereinafter 
referred to as USER)


USER NAME:  ____________________________________________________

USER INSTITUTION:  _____________________________________________

a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the ABCL/1 system under the 
following conditions. 


1. This license agreement grants to the USER the right to use the ABCL/1 system
only on machines at the user institution above for the purposes of research and
education.  This agreement does not permit the USER to use the ABCL/1 system 
for any commercial purpose.

2. The ABCL group owns the exclusive right to distribute the ABCL/1 system. 
This agreement does not permit the USER to redistribute the ABCL/1 system.

3. The USER is requested to report bugs in the ABCL/1 system to:

	abcl@is.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp

However, the ABCL/1 group is not responsible for correction of any bugs.

4. In the USER's future papers on the research done using the ABCL/1 system, 
the USER should refer to the following book:

  A. Yonezawa (ed.), ABCL: An Object-Oriented Concurrent System,
  The MIT Press, 1990.
